Jati Ubud is owned by local who is from the family of I Dewa Nyoman Jati, a Balinese Artist and well-known as painter. He learned in painting from Rudolph Bonnet and the collaborated with Aris Smith and Walter Spies to created a revolutionary new art style called the young artist, the depict everyday native Balinese life. His art has shown in many exhibition in other country and his art works can be seen within area and rooms of Jati Ubud, Jati Cottage as well as in his own gallery “Jati Homestay & Gallery” located in Padang Tegal Village, Ubud.
